The remnants of human life

There is no place like home.
For some people home is not quite what we imagine.
A wooden cabin somewhere next to a train track could be it.
The problem is, it’s not legal to live there. The people who live there are often not legal either. There is not much government control in these areas and the owners of the land look the other way, as long as the rent is paid. The people who live in these places build their own homes on a small piece of land, formally used to be rented out to people who want a garden but have none with their house.
The land has now been sold to the train company and the people who lived there have been removed. The houses have been destroyed by the police to keep anyone from returning.
But a live leaves its traces….
